It started off with all the emcees introducing themselves. And one of the emcee happened to be Adrain Pang which i recently seen at Singfest. And he sang a national day song but i forgotten which year the song was sung in. Tho it was a recorded version, he sounded good still ;D
Next they introduced the stuffs in the fun pack followed by the padang wave and so forth.
This year national day theme song was 'Shine' sang by Hardy and Cai Chun Jia. Geeez. It was my first time hearing that song on National Day itself. I felt ashamed of myself coz apparently even my younger siblings know how to sing it. Booos. But they do played the all times national songs like 'Stand up for Singapore, do the best you can', 'Count on me Singapore, Count on me to give my best and more'. And yes! All these I know how to sing. Great satisfaction ;P
The fireworks was fantastic. After which was the post celebrations. The DJ from St. James Power Station was blasting 'heavy' songs. I felt like I was in Singfest once again. Familar songs like Apologise was played. Pretty cool ;D
Halfway through the post celebrations, we left. Didnt stayed through coz the celebrations is not for us, audience. On the way out, the commando walked past us and shook hand with me! And he look me in the eyes and tell me that he love me. No lah, you think he Jonas Brothers meh. He only looked me in the eyes and asked 'Did you enjoyed the performance today?' Better than nothing right. ;P
Walked all the way to Peninsula to meet my dad. And together we went over to East Coast Park to have our supper.
