Wild Wild Wet

Initially wanted to go for horseriding. But after some thoughts, we decided to go wild wild wet.

Dear took a half day leave, fetched him up at pasir ris and off we go.

There's really not much people on a weekday. haha lucky for us but seriously wild wild wet its not really that fun. And it was kinda awkward when we had the wave pool all to ourselves. I could feel that both the lifeguards on duty had their eyes fixed on us.

My very own first car

There comes a point in one’s life when a person buys his/her first car, and I have finally reached that point. At the age of 21 i bought my very own car. Not bragging, just felt accomplish la. But if i have a choice, i would rather choose not to buy it at this moment.

I managed to survive 3 months of violin teaching without a car, but it’s rather inconvenient not having one where i have to travel to lots of places carrying the violin, the heavy bag, and walking under the burning sun. The thought of traveling places to places just makes me feels like its a chore to teach. Also, by having a car i could save some time from traveling and use the extra time to slot in more students. Somewhat, my dad contributes to one of the buying factor. He voiced out his resentment that he had no car to drive during the weekends. haha!

Anyway, waited for almost a week and finally ready for collection. Although big depletion in the figures reflected in bank book, i'm still quite satisfy with my buy ;D

National Day 2011

Happy National Day. Thanks to it i can have a "work-free" day.

Usually on this day, we will head down to the floating platform and have a touch of the atmosphere. But for this year, my aunt forgotten to pass us the tickets only at the last moment then she remembers. Anyway, since its so rush we went cycling at East Coast Park instead.

Whole family went including dear. Its the first time dear joined us for cycling and definitely an unforgettable one for him. Haha. My youngest sis and 3rd sis had a mini collision on their bikes. No serious injuries just a slight graze on my 3rd sis feet but my sister started to turn pale and giddy after seeing blood..

Not able to cycle any further, we suggest that 2 person head back to the bicycle station return the two bikes and get a double seater bike to fetch my 3rd sis back while the other person will ride her bike back. And the two lucky person was dear and rui my lil sister. Poor dear has to cycle back and forth and its quite a distance.

After returning the bikes, went to east coast food centre to have our dinner. And back home.

Malaysia trip

Grabbing the chance that the music school is having a day break, went malaysia with dear.

As usual, turn up for private lessons in the morning. After all lessons, drove down to amk to fetch my little sister and then home. Dear came over and together we took a direct bus, 911 from my house to the checkpoint.

We didn't head deeper into msia, due to time constraint. It's already near to 4pm when reached.

We just did some simple shopping at City Square. Had a dirt cheap dinner at Swensens and caught the movie Captain America. The theatre was freezing till we have to use the newly bought shirts as "jackets".

Headed back home after our movie.

Waterway Terraces II

It started when we join the ballot for a 5-room flat and holding the thought that it is very unlikely for us to get. No. of units offered was only 246 but a total of 1,882 applicants. Slim chance.

Completely astound, we actually got into the queue - 208.

One of the days, we went down to HDB Hub to see the model of the flat. Looks nice and alluring got the resort feel, honestly, i do like it. But was worried if the high floors and the good units were taken.

So a day before our selection of unit, we marked down all the leftover units. Indeed, all the units which are facing the inside are taken. The ones left are those facing the outside.

After much consideration, an ideal one for us will be Block 310C unit 594. The highest floor available is 12. So we headed down to Punggol itself to have a look. The only concern is the LRT track. So, we specially went down to a LRT station and listen to the level of noise it produces. Thankfully, the LRT noise level is almost zero!

Later in the night, dear came to my house and discuss it over with my parents. Similar concerns, the LRT track. haha. Told them the noise produce is almost zero but my dad is not convince as we went in the morning which he claim that the surrounding is noisy to hear it properly. So, he drove us to punggol to see the site and the LRT.

And.... O.K was the word :D

3 July, was our selection. Didn't went selection with dear coz i need to work! But send him over to HDB Hub. Praying hard ....

Soon received text from dear, we got it! - BLK 310C PUNGGOL WALK #12-594.

4 years from now....

ONE Year Anniversary

Everything seems fast between us, its already been a year or so but i still love him as much.

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary at Heeren's Waruku. The bowl being served for the ramen is definitely 2 times bigger than my face.

I appreciate deeply for what he have done all along. Tolerating all my tantrums, never fail to send me home, making an effort to fetch me every time after my last teaching, always be there for me, showering all the love and concern, my doctor, my santa claus :X, my knight, and the list goes on ...

It feels so good to be in love but it feels even better to be loved. hahaha.

Many more anniversaries to be celebrated i believe ;D

Friday Night

Finally after so long, we manage to get together again. The feeling is sooo damn right :D

After my lesson at Holland, drove down to Plaza Sing to meet the ladies. I was pretty late thanks to the traffic at Orchard Rd + the queuing outside PS carpark.

Had our dinner at XinWang. Don't really like the food there, except for their milk tea.

After dinner, drove down to Esplanade to "lepak". Haha. Absolutely doing nothing, simply chatting along the Bay of Esplanade. We chatted for quite sometime!

At last at 1am, felicia's husband came to fetch her while cheryl's taking a cab back to her boyf house, leaving diona acting weird. haha! Her phone died, borrowed mine and called her boyf. Mumbled something on the phone and then say she will take a cab home too. I offered her a ride home umpteen times, but she refuse. So i left without her. After sometime, she called again using cheryl's phone and say she wants a ride. hahaha. Joker hor.

Bedok then vroom vroom back to Woodlands.

I'd a great night.

Bowling

I'm entitled to 7 days of car usage cos sis is not around in singapore. Not to worry, i will definitely help her utilize the car.

At around 3pm brought the 2 kiddos to amk to top up petrol. Must be wondering why specifically amk? Woodlands cannot meh? Because... dad got the discount vouchers which only can be use at amk.

Done with refilling, drove down to Jubilee to buy Gong Cha ♥♥♥

Beforehand, had arrange with dear to go bowling after his work. so while waiting for him to knock off, brought the 2 kiddos to the arcade to play their hearts off but at the same time playing my $$$ off. LOL.

Not long, they start to get bored. Afterall the arcade is not that big. Anyway, since dear is meeting us at Yishun, drove them over and they continue their playing at Yishun Timezone.

Finally left the arcade after dear arrived. Headed over to Orchid Country Club to have our bowling session.

Lastly, dinner & dessert at Upper Thomson. Worst of luck, an illegal parking ticket was issued :'(

Impromptu cycling

Sis having a good life! Recently just got back from Beijing and now she's leaving for Taiwan. Supposedly to send her to the airport but dad wanted to send too. And since dad's driving her, i'll stay at home. But it seems that i'm not spared either. I was being dragged to go along with them for cycling after sending sis off. Dad's making sarcastic remarks that i can't afford to not go. But i know he was just joking with me :p

Thank god the weather is fine. The place was very empty too. But i'm feeling super lazy to paddle. My body suddenly feel so weak when i grab hold of the bike. But nevertheless i cycled for 1 and a 1/2 hour. Leaving the place with wobbly legs.

iMac Delight

Surprised from my sweetest boyfriend!

Been complaining about my problematic Fujitsu notebook for quite sometime. Dying to get an iMac instead of repairing the 4 years plus old notebook. Unfortunately, my daddy don't allow. But that doesn't allow me to give up on buying. But boyfriend was a few steps ahead of me.

Acting secretive, brought me to Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall. Initially thought it was purely for interest cos we haven't been there before. But things starts to get fishy when he wants to go to B2. Questioned him, but got no answers. Out of curiosity, i got on to my iPhone and tap the app "SG MALLS" and tadah, the most suspicious shop - epiCentre

Sure enough, it was there. Ok cool, thinking to myself again, probably here to look around. But no, he had already contacted the shop and reserve the iMac. I was in total shock, the next moment i knew, i got myself an iMac from love.

SUPER happy. It's like a dream come true. Thanks love :D

北京 Beijing 2011

12th May - Boarding

I was carrying a tingling feeling of excitement to the airport. Dad sent us there and we were the first to reach. Not long after love came. Then came strolling the rest of the people, and we were ready for luggage check in :D

Following which, bid goodbye and proceeded to the check in point. Boarded the plane at 0045 but it only took off at 0130. Soon enough, i was feeling drowsy from the motion sickness pills which i've ate. Have a strong urge to sleep but just can't. Sleep wake sleep wake. Ended up with only 3hrs of sleep with aches, mostly butt ache. haha. Had breakfast at 0500, loving their orange juice. It actually taste different to what i normally drink. Finally, we reached Beijing at 7am.

13th May - Day 1

Finally, we reached Beijing at 7am. The morning weather was cold and windy - 16'C.

Aunt is being comical when collecting luggage. "PEK" tags are being hang around on all the luggage to indicate "Beijing" but she simply took the luggages when "PEK" tag were visible to her thinking it was theirs. Coz their family surname is "Peck" haha! In the end we have to put those luggage back.

Gathered with the rest of the tour member before heading to Forbidden City. Oh ya, did i mention i'm with the tour? Ah yes, i'm with the tour and our first stop is the Forbidden City. It's so big that we need 3hrs to finish the whole "excursion"

Next was our lunch. After which, to the hotel where we have to wait almost an hr + for rooms. And our last program for the day before dinner was a Kung Fu show.

That marks the 1st day of my trip and I miss dear so much.

14th May - Day 2

Ahh, feeling lazy to go on.

Anyway, woke up at 5.30am in the morning to have a quick shower and headed down to have breakfast. The sky was shining brightly at 5.30am.

At 7.45am we were all well seated in the coach. Our first stop was to the Jade jewellery. Not my kind of place. But my mom bought a "cabbage" which my dad had accidentally dropped it. oops. The "cabbage tail" was separated from its body. No worries, super glue saved the "cabbage"

Next was a visit to the Ming Tomb, the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

Lunch.

Afterwhich, to the magnificent Great Wall of China. I stepped my foot on it and climbed the steps!

Ahhhhhhhh~ seriously feeling damn lazy to go on, plus i can't recall much on the journey sequence.

Making a Comeback

Goodness. 2nd post for the year 2011.

I presume i'm going to update as often as of now if there's something for me to blog about cause i'm kind of free. Actually not really, should say i've more time for myself now.

Something worth mentioning, left my company since 11th may which means no more OT, no more sufferings for me! Soooo, are you curious about what i'll be doing? I'll be operating a company called the SLC - Shake Leg Company at home. Jealous?

Hahaha. I'll be focusing on my music career now la. Was sprouting nonsense.

After resignation, went for a 8days trip to Beijing. And now here i am back alive and kicking. Will update more about the trip in a later post.

Just got back from watching Kung Fu Panda with love, my brother and youngest sis. Not too bad, quite funny, cute but at times dumb.

Alright, turning in for the day. love is not feeling well today. Hope he's sleeping well and deep now :]

Welcoming Year 2011

Haha. Haven't been blogging for quite sometime. Kind of losing my words over here.

Anyway, year 2010 had past quickly for me, at least. Probably because ever since i started working, everyday seems pretty much the same to me, just work and occasional hanging out after work which could be rather taxing for me.

Despite that, this year has been really a special one. Bcos someone truly special had unknowingly stepped into my life. I'm so sorry for giving you such a hard time before.
But! But...
you need to know that you're the best i ever had for year 2010.

So i spent the new year eve with the special boy. Managed to catch the fireworks at Esplanade in time. Large crowds, but somehow felt like it was just me and him. Did lots of walking, but at the same time, enjoying the breezy night, the beautiful night scenery and the company of each other. The amazing night ends when i stepped into my house at around 4.30AM.

Its a great start to spend the new year with my love. Hope year 2011 would be a better one for me, and for all of us :D
