V6 minus 2

V6 had a movie date!

But sadly Alvis and Ting Ting couldn't make it. Anyway, we caught the movie My Sister's Keeper at PS.

The movie was pretty touching. Bernie sitting beside me was weeping away, causing much noise pollution. Our face was feeling sticky after all the crying. lol

Volunteering

Had a tiring and long day yesterday but it was definitely worthwhile =]

Guoyan has been asking me to go down for some volunteering the past few weeks. But i've been rather busy. Finally yesterday, i took the time down.

The five of us, Gillian, Claris, Guoyan, Wei Wen and myself was suppose to meet at Marsilling, 1.15pm. But in the end, there was only me and wei wen and the in-charge who is driving us to the home. The rest were late. We waited almost like 45mins!! And yet, Gillian is still not in sight.

Wei wen and i left with Joseph (one of the ic) to the home first because the elderly needs to eat. Leaving Anthony (another ic) and Guoyan to wait for Gillian. While, Claris is going down straight herself.

The 3hours spent there was fun! During lunch time, some of us helped to cut the food into smaller pieces while the others brew coffee and tea. Music was being played in the dining hall. Which causes an elderly to dance along with the song Beat It by Michael Jackson.

There were 2 other elderly fighting over some minor stuff. Basically spitting at each other, but to be honest there weren't much saliva being spitted out. And there's this elderly trying to be the mediator waving his hands between them to stop the commotion. Hahaha.

Next, we brought some of the elderly for a walk. The guy that i was in-charge of was funny. Along the way, we passed by some coffee shop and he went around saying hi to people and giving them hi-5. What really gave me a laugh was that, we took a break at a coffee shop and i asked the elderly, "What do you want to drink" (in hokkien) and he answered swiftly "Peisi Cola". hahahaha. Maybe you would think its not funny but you really had to be there to witness that scene. Its totally LOL.

Anyway, after the volunteering, we proceeded with our plan. Weiwen, and myself followed Gillian back home to get the Chicken Wings that her mom had prepared. While, Guoyan left with Claris back home to prepare pizza!!

After getting the wings, we went Cold Storage to get some drinks and snacks. After we're done with the shopping, we took a cab down to Claris condo at Hillview. Back at there, Gouyan was busy preparing his pizza. While waiting for him, we played the movie "Dirty Dancing". And when dinner was ready, we got all the food laid on the table and start munching! There's pizza, soup, fries, wings all homemade. I hate to say but i have to say, Gouyan's culinary skills is unsurpassed. His pizza and soup was delicious but the fries was a little "soft" but it was still quite okay.

Played another movie "The Italian Job". And we sat in the cosy living room watching and munching on our snacks. After the movie it was already, 12midnight. Luckily, ive got a direct bus back home.

It was a long day but i really had fun =]

School is inhaling all my air and I can hardly breathe. Packed with activities each and everyday. Classes in the morning, which is totally lifeless and IG afterwhich. Lesson are getting real boring. I'm not as noisy as i were in class anymore. I hardly talk now.

Reflections is drawing near and thus rehearsals are conquering every of my evenings. I guess things will be a little better after the performance ends.

Yesterday after school, hang out with Bernie. I believe its the first hanging out session so far after school re-opens?

Another crazy night.

Stomp 09'

Managed to catch Stomp performing at the Esplanade. I swear that they were simply talented and fabulous :D

The eight performers make music with dustpans, rusty metal signs, ladders, folding chairs, boxes of kitchen matches, paper bags, garbage cans, oil drums and yes, even a quartet of kitchen sinks.

Taking one surface, putting it in contact with one another. And presto, a rhythm is born. Incredible. Not forgetting that, the show had made a success, to have us bursting into laughter =]

Before the show, the four of us, aunt, sister, cousin and myself went for dinner at some Japanese Restaurant at Esplanade. Dont really like the food there :/

This is it, Stomp 09' was a blast :D
Definitely made my night.

Superdog experience

Xvan Bernie NicOlson called me in the middle of 3pm to ask me out.

Went Vivocity. Xvan did some shopping but turned out there weren't that many choices for guys there. Had dinner at Superdog. Surprisingly, it was both our first time eating there :p

Something that kept Xvan and me memorable was thaat... He ordered a chicken burger, upsized fries and drink and it cost him 6 bucks. Whereas, i ordered a grilled fish burger, with no upsize and it cost me 7.50 bucks!!! So much of a difference.

So while we were sitting down, eating our stuffs we were trying to figure out what the hell happened. End up, we realized that he was charged with the student price by the lady at his counter thought he did not say he wanted a student set meal or anything, and i was charged the standard price. zzz

oh hello, do i look very old?
