I've not been blogging on a daily basis and i'm extremely apologetic.

Its been rather hectic today. Had my violin lesson in the morning.
Went SengKang in the afternoon for my 1st piano accompaniment. Its was pretty tense for me. The pianist was asking me not to tremble. But true enough, my hand was trembling. But not to the extent of shaking uncontrollably duh! Thankfully, the atmosphere gets better after awhile.

After finishing the 3 songs, it was time for Aural. For aural tests, theres quite a number of things to be tested.
Firstly, would be the memorise melodies. The pianist would play some chords for 2 times and i will need to sing it by memory. The lyrics for my singing is just la, la, la, la, la but of coz with tune.
My first LA' that came out from my mouth was... HORRIBLE. My voice cracked. My teacher was sitting at the back LHAO - laughing her ass off.
Its not my fault too right? HAHAHA. That pianist fault! Didnt gave me a chance to warm up my vocals.

Next would be the sight singing. Lastly, would be asking questions on the particular song the pianist is playing. The dynamics, articulation, character of music, style/period, so on so fourth..

At 6.30pm, met up with Celina at AMK station. Halfway through the journey, Godwin hop on board at Woodlands. Together trained to Dover together. Waited for Gillian at the station and together we headed to Singapore Poly. The few of us went there to have a collaboration with their strings ensemble for their upcoming concert held in either june/july. The rehearsals ended pretty late 9.30pm

Its Chinese New Year Eve! Meaning, most of the families would be having their renion dinner.

Its been a great opportunity to see all my relatives. Apparently during normal days, those who have to work, work. Those who have to study, study. Hence, it is very hard for us to see each other often. Finally today, all my relatives came to my house to have the renion dinner! ;D

The dinner was sumptuous as the chef for the day was my dad! *claps claps

By the way,
After much consideration, I've decided not to take up a part time job during the holidays. hehe.
I've got to practice hard for my violin exam which is coming real soon on March.
If i were to work, i would not have time to practice. Furthermore, my teacher would be giving me extra lessons after the Chinese New Year.
During this period of holidays, i will be a FREE LOADER at home ;D
