Crap

Driving for the past week to and fro from home to mom's workplace, sis school and to work. Of coz, ultimately when i reached my workplace, gotta return the car back to my dad. ha. Besides, im not allowed to drive alone without his supervision yet.

Apparently, my poly cert is still on hold due to outstanding school fees. Totally crap. The school has informed me about the outstanding fee of $915.24 during Jan. And yes, i've paid. And now, there's another $515.82? Why didn't they inform together with the $915.24?
Anyway, i'm sorting things out now before paying coz the amount $515.82 is very dubious.

It’s really starting to hit me that I’m done. It’s all coming to an end. School is over for good but i have yet to collect my cert. This is a wonderful yet somewhat saddening thing.

I am working hard earning money now. Teaching during weekends, working during weekdays. It often sets me into thinking, eventually which path would i choose to continue for the rest of my life. Frankly, i have no idea. Right now, im just spending my days along and hoping everything would fall into place sooner or later.

At the moment, i dread going for teaching. I'm constantly worrying about the image i transmit to the parents. I'm concerned about the way they think about me. Many many other things to ponder about which has been giving me quite some stress. But i jolly well knew that, this is the beginning and i have to go through it and everything would be fine after awhile. But i can't help it but to mull over. Sighs.

On a lighter note, passed my grade 5 music theory exam with a merit =]

Settling down..

After months of chilling, i got my butt down to job searching. But i heard no news for the jobs that i've applied on Jobstreet. As luck would have it, a company called Asian Shipper request for my resume. And which, i applied. The following day, they rang me up, headed down for an interview and they recommend me to the company Eagle Liner Shipping.

I've been recruited by them. Its located at Keppel Districtpark some where near Vivocity. Holla me if you're near and wishes to see me ;) hah.

Life Sucks

Sometimes i blame myself for being such a good person.

What does being good gain??? At least being bad could protect/defend yourself or doing things you yourself like without considering this or that.

My brother's academic is seriously bad. Really bad. Every tuition teacher my dad hires left after teaching for a short time. My dad decided not to hire anymore. And now, i'm spending my every weekends sitting beside him the whole afternoon to study study study. I could have just give him a whole chuck of work to do, and check when he's done. Why do i choose to sit there?? Becoz, my damn brother give shit work when no one is beside. So what's the point of giving his a whole lot and gets a whole lot of shit back? And he's not an easy chap to deal with. He has this rotten mouth that only talks shit. He's having his PSLE this year, but i doubt he could hardly pass. So i'm trying my best to help. But people just don't appreciate. Raised my voice, got myself angry, blood boil, FOR WHO? FOR MYSELF? DAMN.

I could have gone to the movies with jacintha and save myself from her saying I PLAY AEROPLANE. And blame me for not able to watch Iron Man2 and Ip Man2 because its fully booked. This what's she said 'actually that day i wanna bk the movie.. there's seats for us but i know you like to play aeroplane so i didnt book'. hurting.

Sigh. . .

I guess being the 2nd in the family is a mistake. I always thought so. There was a time, my elder sister took my water bottle and use. In result i've got no water bottle. So i told her i need the water bottle back. When my dad heard that, he say 'you cannot lend your sister use? i say i need to use also. and he said, 'u go get a new one'. I said, why don't she get a new one since that is mine. and he say, your sister got no time to get it. zzzzz And it was then the time when my water bottle is nowhere to be seen anymore, she got a new one for HERSELF. and i'm left with no bottle. On my birthday, my dear friends got me a new bottle, and this time, my dad asked me to give my youngest sister to use when her's is spoilt.

Singing

I had a great day today with Xvan and Weihao.

Basically, singing the whole afternoon at Marina Square outlet. Was a little disappointed about the promotions going on there. The 50% discount for students made me excited, but little did i know that, we had to be their member in order to enjoy that promotion. Anyway, no worries.

Back to RP to help out my fellow ensemble mates for SLA.

As seen in the picture, i'm the most outstanding in terms of attire. Don't get the wrong idea. But of coz, i didnt wore that for performance.

It's fun being back playing together with the ensemble :D

Self-Note

Caught with a disease

Ahhhh this is complete garbage. I've fallen ill for the past 1 week. In fact, i am down with the disease, hand foot mouth. It's not deadly but its enough for me to suffer.

It was just fever along with extreme headache and a painful throat for the first 2 days. Fever subside on the 3rd day, but the throat is getting as painful as ever as if anytime i would die from swallowing my own saliva.

At the same time, i noticed some blisters on my hand and one on my feet. The one on the feet was itchy. But at that point of time time, i thought it was plainly a mosquito bite. Where those on the hands, pardon me, i thought it was those normal blister due to the passionate mopping and vacuuming of the house. lmfao. I hardly ever do housework, but since my maid left, i've been helping my mom with the housework. So i thought those were the cause of the blisters :$

However, things are getting worst on the 4th day. So i paid a visit to the clinic. More blisters are appearing on the hands and feet. What's more its painful and itchy. I could hardly walk with all the blisters on my feet. Imagine how pain! :'(

Strangely, how did i get infected with hand foot mouth? Things could be strange as it is. I was down with fever together with my youngest sister, followed by my elder sister and brother. Where my third sister had previously down fever on Good Friday. wakaka.

Sayonara Ema

Literally goodbye.

She's a decent maid i must say. But due to some circumstances, we have to send her off.
Well, there's a story behind everything and this is quite a long and complicated one which i would not recount.

Sent her off in the afternoon today. She didnt went back to her home country. Instead, she went Batam with her boyfriend to work O.O. Anyway, couldnt care less!

In a dilemma

At last after soo long, i could now safely say that i'm ready for work.

But i'm caught in a tight spot.

Just today afternoon, i went for an interview at Sonare Music School. Unquestionably, my role there is to teach music. I'm fortunate that the school is willing to accept me as part of them. As some of you might know, im not a 8th grader yet. However, the manager would like me to take up a full time position. Meaning if i'm not teaching, i would have to do admin work. Though this is a good opportunity for me to gain experience and improve myself, i'm still having doubts about it.

Besides, i had a discussion with my violin teacher over the net, and she have given me a few alternatives:

1) Take up a job of your poly diploma and continue learning violin till grade 8 then switch
2) Take up the job at Sonare for experience, continue to learn violin till grade 8 then switch
3) Learn with Mr Wu or Mr Luo, because they will consider to bring u in to schools to teach, then u will shortcuts

I guess i'll have to discuss this again with my dad.

Tingyi's Wedding

It was when the sun has yet to rise, my cousin came to fetch my brother along with my youngest sister to the bridemaid's house. While i was still under the comfort of my sheets.

In any case, say 10am we too left home to the bridemaid's house for lunch and tea ceromony.

As always, the kiddies being mischievous.

The late evening banquet was held at Fullerton Hotel. This wedding was essentially a noteworthy one. My cousin, sister and i had actually help to perform a 30mins repertoire.

The cellist is actually my cousin's friend.

The dinner ended pretty late. almost midnight. Dinner started late. Say around 8.30pm. In between, there were also performances as well as speeches and so forth. Shall not comment on the food ya :p

Gravity's bringing us down?

Things has not been going well for my family the past week. Mom has not been herself lately. Doing things which are beyond imagination which i shall not elaborate any further.

She was hospitalized for 3 days too. Alone overnight with her at the hospital. Kept myself occupied by reading, playing psp which is actually not my type of thing. Time passes extremely slow. Luckily, the ward is not as scary. you know you know.

Anyway things are getting a little better now. But then again, she's still as temperate. Hopefully, everything would be the back to where it would be after getting a new maid.

Singapore e-Awards

Attended the concert with my friends + Angtint and her friends.

And i'm pretty sure Angtint and myself grew quite bored after some time. The rest of em' were busy anticipating Shinee which was the second last to perform on the stage. In between, there's others like yoga, jj lin, xiao gui, ah du, wei lian, moses chan, eason chen, tanya chua etc. I can only remember this few.

Originally, i thought that there are many others like kevin cheng, raymond lam, artists that i've more interest in. But to my dismay, none of the people who were present at the concert was to my liking. Thus, not much photos were taken.

But for the sake of taking, here are some

The last performer was Eason Chan. Angtint and I left before even Eason sang finished. My friends stayed through the whole concert while Angtint friends waiting at the ground floor hoping to catch a glimpse of Shinee.

Luckily, both of us managed to catch the last train back home. Oh! And something which i think worth mentioning? I saw genevieve and yvonne out of sooo many people ;)

Jimmy's Wedding

Happy marriage to Jimmy & Sarah.

Attended my secondary school teacher's wedding on the 7th March. And it's nice to see the familiar faces of my secondary friends and teachers. Sadly, not the entire class went.

The wedding ceremony was held at Trinity Church. The whole session took quite long if i'm not wrong. Probably around 2 hours. There's singing, and lots of talking and more talking. After which, the makan session.

Looking forward to the upcoming chalet ya ;)

CNY celebrations

with the old folks!

Had a mini celebration at the home put up by us for the old folks.

Weiwen was sweet enough to drop by my house in the morning to help me with my stuffs. I've got quite abit of things to carry, violin and the guitar. Despite him coming down, we still took a cab.

The first item was perform by us, guoyan, guoyi and me. Feeling the jitters being the first. Anyway, there are other performances like dance, magic show, lion dance, singing. Last item was the band performing hey jude. Everything went well.

After our lunch we headed to 2 other homes to give away hong baos ward by ward.

Finally, we decided on a coffee shop and rested our feet there and had some drinks to cool ourselves :)

First jamming session

Yeaa, i had my first jamming session today @ Bugis.

Met the band right away after my driving, we had to walked quite a distance to reach the studio. Being my first time, I've some issues with the studio. Firstly, we are required to remove our shoes. Secondly, we are not allowed to wear shoes into the toilet either. But they do have slippers for us. But it looks wet and eww. Afterall, the studio is owned by malays. Have to respect somehow.

So we made full use of the hour and rehearse our song, hey jude. Anyway, fanyong is the drummer, weiwen the pianist, ivan the singer, guoyan and myself the guitarist. And my shoulders got so sore after awhile. The electric guitar is god damn heavy.

Had our dinner at Iluma. Fanyong and Ivan left, leaving us, claris, weiwen, guoyan and me to shop for guoyan's brother present. Decided on a wallet, but just cant seem to find a wallet where the coin compartment is a zip instead of a button. He's brother prefers zip. haha! So instead, he bought a belt.

Next destination, guoyan's home. Its was pretty late already, but we need to rehearse the chinese new year songs with gy brother. coz he's playing the piano while we play the violin. So the 3 of us ran through the songs, making sure everything is right, while weiwen and claris busy applying their uni stuffs. After rehearsing, hang around his house, played with his cat, and sang a birthday song for his brother. hahaha.

And Guoyan was nice enough to drive us all back home. With his dad beside him supervising his driving. He's a newbie.

The holiday

Everyday feels like a Sunday for me. Enjoying pretty much :p

Re-watched the movie "The Holiday". It was as good as before or even better. This is one of those movies which really could make you think of the world around and the way we live our lives appreciating the true things in life.

Guoyan and Weiwen drop by my house in the afternoon to rehearse the chinese new year songs to perform for the old folks. Spent some time working on it but spent more time chitchatting.

I've promise my youngest sis ealier to get her a water bottle. As promised, we went down to cwp to sop for her water bottle. Don't know if i should say buying stuffs for her is a chore or a blessing. I asked if she likes the water bottle, she shook her head and said don't know. Asked her if she likes it anot, dont know. Dont know dont know and dont know. Right, so i just picked one and bought it.

Homed. Leaving gy and ww at KFC eating. hahaha.

Justin Bieber

Here's a kid rising up the charts fast. Initially, i thought that he was just another passerby. You know, those who got famous for a moment and dies down after awhile.

But somehow this kid drew my attention on him because he's up the charts, songs after songs. First of all was the song, One Less Lonely Girl. Next was the song One Time. Yeaaa, so this is the song that attracted me. Watch one of of his live on Youtube, which i think was quite decent. Followed up, was the song Baby featuring Ludacris. Ha, another 1 hit single! From then onwards, i started listening to his songs! Gahhh.

I guess another 1 hit song is coming up real soon in Sean Kingston new album! Uhm, i do sound like i'm giving him a free publicity ah? But ultimately, my purpose is to say im onto him. Not crazy about, not obsessed maybe just fancy. haha!

Gong Xi Fa Cai

Happy Chinese New Year.

Before going into my cny celebrations, my 3 years of poly life have come to an end last week. But i dont seem to be thrilled about it. Still can't accept that, im working soon! :(
Often, i wonder if i could withdraw from this world and live in my own world. Ha ha, i'm so lost in thoughts.

Right, so back to Chinese New Year....
The occasion is getting mundane for me. There's nothing much to say actually except that this year reunion dinner was at my uncle's place instead of ours. 3 days of house visiting, ang bao collection and night movie.

Caught Little Big Soldier, True Legend and Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief. All are worthy to watch. Then again, i particularly like Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief. Its dope for me.

I'm gonna buy the whole series of Percy Jackson books. yay!

Once again, happy chinese new year :)

Daybreakers

Caught the movie Daybreakers with gy, ww and claris. Its all about vampires depriving of human blood and Ethan Hawke a vampire himself, wanted to save the human race. No doubt Ethan Hawke is hot, but the movie send shivers down my spine. GORE.

Long day with the volunteers

7am to the brink of dawn, 3am. a long exhausted day.

Rise and shine at 7am for my music theory class. Dad drove me back to school for open house IG performance. The peeps, shihua, xinrui and guoyan followed me back home after. In the meantime, guoyan working on his rj. Hang around my house till its time for volunteer work.

Had our activities, jogging/cycling after volunteering. Joseph drove us all, claris, weiwen, guoyan, baokuang and myself back to his home to change and prepare. Done with preparation, drove down to East Coast Park. Of coz, claris, weiwen and i cycle. haha! Leaving the rest of them jogging.

After an hour, went back to joseph's home to wash up. And off again to a place which i dont really know where it is. We had some business over there which drags us till 12am! Oh, and we are starving like mad. We only had char siew buns on our way back from East Coast. So we went Henderson market to satisfy our stomach.

Blue skies

Boring weeks to boring weekends.

Gladly, my cousin called and asked if we want bring muffin out for a walk. Fortunately, my sister was available. haha. With her as our driver, (oops) transporting around is way easier.

Decided on Botanic gardens. Bought some snacks and drinks along the way.

Lying down on the mat, staring at the clear blue sky, it makes everything seems peaceful. The kids were having fun with the dog. While my sis, cousin and myself sat on the mat munching, at the same time observing the people around us :)

Lazed around till late evening and started packing up for dinner. I forgotten the exact place where we had our dinner. But its somewhere near Clarke Quay. Had jap food. In the mean time, enjoying the breeze and the serene surronding.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.

Another year have pass and gone. We should leave the past and look forward to the future. Hope that this year would be all good for me.

Now.. Time for resolutions? haha. nope i wont list down. i dont depend on the resolutions or say i would not keep them.

Just hoping that that i'll walk the year 2010 and the future with confidence and believes that that this world only contains one me
and that, i'm special.
