Heavy laa

Tickets to Singfest on Sunday is SOLD OUT. Meaning that there would be many many many people fighting the front rows with me! Seriously, I'm so happy that Mraz is in the line up.

I was hoping that i can bring a stool along ya. As you all know, I'm pretty short. I'm glad that Marz has fans all around the world. There's holla lots of fans out there from overseas willing to pay for the air ticket just to see his live. Grrr, again this means that besides the locals, there will be many more other tourists coming in to snatch my front rows! And I just realise from the Singfest forum that most of the people going on Sunday are up for Jason Mraz. Booooo. I've been repeating again and again, but I still have to say, ' there will be more people snatching my front rows'.

Anyway, the line up for Singfest has been up.

And I guess I won't be able to stand at the front rows? Coz there many hiong people out there. Probably to see Mraz they would even camp there. There are practically 2 stages. 1st stage is where all the overseas bands/singers are and the 2nd stage is where all the local bands are. I'm interested to see how much people would go and watch the local band perform if possible.

3 more days to go!

The Kind Gets Tribute

I sincerely wanna show my gratitude to PanZhiZhong aka PuahCheeChong aka PANZZ.

Hmm.. Wonder how does this person look like?
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. . .
. .
.

Yes, its him its him, Panzz. Without him, my life won't be going on smoothly. He made everything possible for me. Has been tolerating my demanding expectations for exactly about a week or so. HAHA. Without fail, he would be the most willing and happy to help me solve my problems at the fastest time possible :D

At this point of time you reader's mind must be wandering off to JB already?

What I have been pointing at is that he's been helping me with the current blogskin all the while. If not my life won't be going on smoothly. Day and night, I would be mugging my head in doing the blogskin. My highly expectations won't be met in the shortest time possible or maybe can't even be met. The reason is simple, coz I don't know how.

So, a big THANK YOU to PANZZ

Ohya, if anyone of you ever feel bored, feel free to play Counter Strike with him. Or Zoo Tycoon and stuffs. We use to play CS as a class! He got us addicted to the game. Remember the times when I was shouting and yelling in class when I being shot. I mean being shot inside the game. Hell yeah, it was fun.

By the way, he's easily spotted in Republic Poly. As he is standing at the height of 185cm. Super noticable. When anyone sees him, feel free to say 'Hi' or 'Omg, you are very tall' or 'I like playing CS' or whatever you want to say huh. Just be friendly. LMAO ;p

Another Typical Day

Another day has come and gone away. Thank god its Friday!! Inspired from Gabriel Quek quek. He has been saying it since he saw it from the Sandwich Bar menu @ W4.

So it was Statistics today. Statistics class was the best. At the end of the 3rd meeting, we are just required to send out one representative to present. And the group was does the PDT and kept asking questions during 2nd meeting was exempted to present. For today, it was my team that doesnt have to present. A relaxed lesson on a Friday. HOW NICE :D

Gabriel was a happy boy today. Unlike yesterday, he was a sick cat.

Caught a flu.

he shy shy.

He is damn fortunate laaaaaaaaaaaa. He had the chance to train with the Brazil Olympic Team today and tomorrow. I'm jealous. Though I don't play soccer, don't you think its a great opportunity? Only 5 selected players in Young Lions were able to train with them. According to him, Brazil is the best in the world. Yes? No? I don't know. He felt as tho he was dreaming when he receive the call to train with them.

The fantastic 5, Xinrou, Felicia, Cheryl and Gabriel, headed over to TRCC for lunch. Sat there chat chat, eat eat. Not long after, Jacky came to join us.

Gab ID photo for the F1 Job.
Taken by Xinrou.

Xinrou bias only. Help gabriel take but never help me. I'm also going for the F1 leh! So after eating, Gabriel left for his training with the Brazillians player.

Insane snapping;

Lesson ended and BOOM, i'm homed.

su su su, Sushi Tei

After work, my 'kar cheng' called and said he's treating dinner at Serangoon Gardens Sushi Tei. I wanted him to come and fetch me, but too bad so sad, they are already queueing up for seats. Fortunately, Serangoon is not far from Orchard. Just a 20mins or so ride. Called my cousin when I alighted at Serangoon. He came and pick me up and drove back to Sushi Tei.

Not much food left when I've reached. And seriously, I realise that something is wrong with my brother. He actually serve me food, putting them on the plate for me. Shrug. I think he had suffered from some trauma. He's been like a devil all the while.

The amount of food left when I've reached.

Ohya, I forgot to mention that I've got a punk meimei. While I was eating, she was sitting next to me forcing the earpiece into my ears. I reluctantly put on the earpiece. I put it in just for her ok. Just, for, her. lols. Then the song 'Shut up and Drive' was blasting. Punk leh my meimei listen to this type of song. But the next consequent songs was classical music. I almost fell asleep while eating. Just joking. Hahah. I know not funny -.-

My cousin, Wilson

Bye, Sushi Tei.

After dinner, headed over to have some Yogurt Ice Cream. Yummy!

Homed.

The Dark Knight

Caught the movie The Dark Knight at 12.10 midnight @ Yishun.

The movie was quite a letdown. Its not that the movie was not good. Just that it's not what I've expected. I expected to be much better. Nevertheless, it's still an awesome movie with cool scenes.

Christian Bale is hot. Even hotter when he is in his batman suit. And the usual Katie Holmes was replace by another actress. She's much much uglier. Not to be mean, but thats the truth.
Lastly, as the name speaks for itself, Joker was a Joker.

Overall the movie was 'watchable'. And just so you know, the actor Joker is dead. Not dead in the movie but in real life D:

Drop dead on the bed after I got home.

When Darkness Turns Into Light

I'VE GOT MY SINGFEST TICKETS!

Citibank is having a promotion with Levi's.

A pair of Levi's jeans + a Singfest ticket cost $189.90 and a Levi's Tee + a Singfest ticket cost $139.90. Me being the calculative earthling, bought the a pair of jeans instead of a tee. Obviously, the package I bought was the best bargain.

Right after school, cab down to CWP with my taxi kakis . Trained down together with Gabriel. Alighted at Somerset as I was meeting my cousin to buy the Levi's Jeans together. Ultimately our aim was to get the Singfest ticket tho :P

It was rather early when I've reached Heeren. So, I stepped into HMV to check the various albums out.

The headphones there was terrific!!

Spent quite some time inside chilling. After which, headed back to Someset to meet my cousin. And together we went over to Levi's to satisfy our desires. On the way to Heeren, at the traffic light, I saw Xvan!!! After satisfying our desires, took a bus down to Plaza Singapura to have our dinner at Crystal Jade Kitchen. On the way to the bus stop, at the traffic light, I saw Xvan again!

@ Levi's

After dinner, met up with my cousin's friend HuiShan. Left Plaza Singapura and off to National Musuem. I'm not there to see the 'Giant' that everyone has in their blog when they stepped into the National Musuem. I was there to see a performance :D

Credits: Angtint

The performance was SPECTACULAR! It was some kind of a ballet performance in the air. The festival was called 'The Dancing Sky'. The dancers were dancing while being hung in the air.

It was extremly GORGEOUS. Everyone was flipping out their LG touch phone, Sony Cybershot, Digital cameras, SLR cams to capture that fantastic moment. But I guess I'm the only one who is using a 1.3mega pixel cam. Bcoz my mobile went for service yesterday so I had to use my previous mobile. Even with the 1.3mega pixels, it is of no use.

But I manage to get the pictures somehow ;P

Stunnnnninnng!

On the piano.

Ballerina in a bubble

They were all hung in the sky thus resulting in the remarkable sight.

Lastly, my Levi's Jeans!! Singfest tickets I've to collect them again when they call :D

Supply Chain Asia Forum

2Days of fun at Grand Copthorne Hotel.

Attended the Forum as a helper. Met up with Debby and Jacky at Douby Ghuat MRT and together cab down to the hotel. First task of the day there was to eat. Quality breakfast I must say. In fact, the consequent breakout session food was awesome. The only letdown was the drinks. For the entire day the drinks provided was just plain cold/hot water, coffe, tea. However to make things better, you can have me. As the saying goes, Coffee? Tea? or Me? Definitely me right? lol

2nd task was .....

Registration

Our job was to simply tick the names of the people who attend, pass the name tags to them.

After the registration work, there's nothing much left for us to do. Hence, we went to sit in to listen to the speakers speak. However, I totally catch no balls as to what they were saying. Its too in depth for me to understand :/

So after every session of forum, we have breakout sessions. Where it is the time for eating and networking ;D We managed to network with some of the expertise! Thank god, we were definitely inspired by them. All the time till 5pm, we have been eating and eating and eating + abit of networking. Approximately, we had FIVE meals in a day.

1st session of forum

The handsome speaker!

Networking ;p

At around 5.45pm, we left Grand Copthorne Hotel and headed to Suntec for Cocktail Dinner.
Paul (Supply Chain Asia President) hired a live band to liven things up ;D

On board to Suntec

The angmohs sitting behind us.

One of them was nice enough to give up his seat for me.

Live band!

2nd session of live band

We did not stay through the whole dinner. Left for home at around 8pm.

The following day was about the same just that there's no cocktail dinner. Cheryl, Bingling and Kokliang joined the forum as guests :D

After so Long

I usaully hang out with my family every Sunday. We would go for some outing etc. However, ever since I started working on Sundays, I seldom have the chance to hang out with them.

I got proof. None of my face was in the pictures D:

Well, today was exceptional. My dad called and said he would come and fetch me after work and dinner after that. As planned, we went Vivocity for our dinner.
My siblings were working hard on finishing eating their pratas.

My mom return from her rounds but ended up empty handed. Came back sitting next to my brother and started stealing my brother's prata. Being a glutton, my brother said 'Why don't you go and buy and stop eating mine!' So i volunteered to help my mom buy as i wasnt eating anything. The queue was pretty long. But I was entertained by the prata uncle. While flipping the prata he was swinging his hips from left to right and right to left. At the same time he was singing some indian tunes. Cute lehhhh.
After dinner we headed out to have a walk.

Youngest sister

Mom looking kiddy ;D

Lastly, I have to say;

You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them.
