Mt.Faber, The Jewel Box

Saturday afternoon met up with Gillian at Novena. Had a ride in her mom's car to Nanyang Academic Fine Arts which is located near Bugis to catch a Strings performance by Anglo Chinese.
As always, going to concert has aways motivated me to strive better in my music. After all its not a waste of money ya. And of coz, i enjoyed the concert too. Its really awesome. Just so you know, Gillian's friend Yinghao was performing too ;)

Hence, after the performance we headed down to Sim Lim to get a webcam. Before leaving the building, I saw my classmate JJ! Said Hi and off we go. Yinghao called Gillian and requested cabbing down to Mt. Faber. We were fine with it, so there we go. Chatted throughout the whole journey. Yinghao sure have much to say. Hahaha!

Before i continue, let me say the purpose of going to Mt. Faber, The Jewel Box Restaurant ya.
Just that Godwin is leaving for army soon on the 14th, henceforth he reserved some seats to have dinner together. As well as, the he himself and 3 other fellows are performing 4 songs :)
Simple as that. Hahs!

We three, Yinghao, Gillian and myself was the first to reach. The atmosphere there was pretty and nice. Its sort of an open space, with no roof. Plus, the scenery is beyond description.

Gillian is being fascinated by the sight of cable cars. So the very next moment i knew, we were standing right in front of the counter buying tickets. Was asking Gillian to get the cheaper tickets which was the normal cabin ones. But she wants the fully glass cabin, so being the nice me, I bought the glass cabin ones. We did not sit right away, as they were starting the performance soon.

At about 7.30pm they finally started to play. Godwin invited the SMU concert master to play the viola. So together the 4 of 'em started playing! Ahh, its heavenly. I swearrr.

After the performance, we ordered food to eat. And ohmygod, the prices of the food are rather steepy. Anyway, ordered the salmon main course. It cost me $28.80. Its not rather worth the price. No photos to show, coz it was dark in the night. It was like 2 small piece of salmon with marsh potatos and tomatos :/

After Gillian and I have finish eating, we took the ride on the cable car while the rest was chatting. Before we hop on in, we went to the toilet. Stunning toilet !!

It has a nice scenery.

It has a fish tank. Real fishes.

It does have a difference sitting in a normal cabin and a fully glass cabin. The glass cabin feels better. Besides, it was cooling in the cabin. Upon reaching Sentosa, a couple came in. This caucasian guy was fat. When it reaches somewhere, the cabin suddenly goes slanted. Damn, its really slant alot. Estimated about 45degrees! Gillian nearly screamed. Well, I don't blame her. Coz it really scary! So she sat like super near to me to balance the cabin.

The night have not ended yet. It was around 11pm, we left Mt Faber, cabbed down to Vivocity to have a bite as Kenneth stomach was not filled yet. Found seats in Toastbox, right away stick our butts onto the chairs. The people left was, Godwin, Kenneth, Yinghao, Gillian and myself! After eating, the members of the 5lines had a meeting. Once again, Yinghao has much to say. He almost spoke for 2 whole hours. If the waiter didnt chase us out, I'm afraid that he is going to talk as if he's the radio playing non-stop hits :D

Ended up leaving the place at 1am. Gillian's mom came and fetch us at Vivocity. Dropped me at Newton train station. And of coz at this time, my loving dad would come fetch me! <3
