Year 2013

Its another brand new year. Even though i know that every year has its ups and downs, i still hope and pray for a smooth sailing 2013.

I wouldn't  know how the year would turn out to be, but there's one thing that i'm really very very excited about which is that i'm going to Europe on the 24th of april. 

Europe is one of the places which i would really love to go but didn't expect it to be that fast. I've never thought of going at the age of 22 in my travel plans. What my plan was going to nearer countries like Korea, Japan, Taiwan, HongKong and slowly venture out to further countries. Nevertheless, air tickets bought at $915 and now just patiently waiting for 24th april to come.

Anyway, spent my new year with darling. Caught the fireworks at MarinaBay. Its our 2nd time catching it. Still remembered the first time we went was welcoming the year 2011. At that time didn't had a car yet and due to bad calculation of the journey time almost missed the fireworks. The 2nd new year eve we'd spent together was welcoming 2012. However, that time we were at Bangkok, but still caught the fireworks anyway. It just happen right in front of our hotel room window. Considered lucky. There will be more to come i believe :)

Wild Wild Wet

Initially wanted to go for horseriding. But after some thoughts, we decided to go wild wild wet.

Dear took a half day leave, fetched him up at pasir ris and off we go.

There's really not much people on a weekday. haha lucky for us but seriously wild wild wet its not really that fun. And it was kinda awkward when we had the wave pool all to ourselves. I could feel that both the lifeguards on duty had their eyes fixed on us.

My very own first car

There comes a point in one’s life when a person buys his/her first car, and I have finally reached that point. At the age of 21 i bought my very own car. Not bragging, just felt accomplish la. But if i have a choice, i would rather choose not to buy it at this moment.

I managed to survive 3 months of violin teaching without a car, but it’s rather inconvenient not having one where i have to travel to lots of places carrying the violin, the heavy bag, and walking under the burning sun. The thought of traveling places to places just makes me feels like its a chore to teach. Also, by having a car i could save some time from traveling and use the extra time to slot in more students. Somewhat, my dad contributes to one of the buying factor. He voiced out his resentment that he had no car to drive during the weekends. haha!

Anyway, waited for almost a week and finally ready for collection. Although big depletion in the figures reflected in bank book, i'm still quite satisfy with my buy ;D

National Day 2011

Happy National Day. Thanks to it i can have a "work-free" day.

Usually on this day, we will head down to the floating platform and have a touch of the atmosphere. But for this year, my aunt forgotten to pass us the tickets only at the last moment then she remembers. Anyway, since its so rush we went cycling at East Coast Park instead.

Whole family went including dear. Its the first time dear joined us for cycling and definitely an unforgettable one for him. Haha. My youngest sis and 3rd sis had a mini collision on their bikes. No serious injuries just a slight graze on my 3rd sis feet but my sister started to turn pale and giddy after seeing blood..

Not able to cycle any further, we suggest that 2 person head back to the bicycle station return the two bikes and get a double seater bike to fetch my 3rd sis back while the other person will ride her bike back. And the two lucky person was dear and rui my lil sister. Poor dear has to cycle back and forth and its quite a distance.

After returning the bikes, went to east coast food centre to have our dinner. And back home.

Malaysia trip

Grabbing the chance that the music school is having a day break, went malaysia with dear.

As usual, turn up for private lessons in the morning. After all lessons, drove down to amk to fetch my little sister and then home. Dear came over and together we took a direct bus, 911 from my house to the checkpoint.

We didn't head deeper into msia, due to time constraint. It's already near to 4pm when reached.

We just did some simple shopping at City Square. Had a dirt cheap dinner at Swensens and caught the movie Captain America. The theatre was freezing till we have to use the newly bought shirts as "jackets".

Headed back home after our movie.
